Ada Lovelace Day To Be Held on October 16

Ada Lovelace Day is an international day celebrating the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering and math.

Launched in 2009, Ada Lovelace Day started as an online pledge to blog about women in technology. Over 2000 people contributed blog posts, newspaper columns, and even a webcomic in the first year. Participation has grown every year with volunteers organizing events around the world.

More information can be found on the celebration’s official website, Finding Ada.
