Course Topic(s): Multivariable Calculus | Conic Sections & Quadric Surfaces

A grapher and collection of applets which display interactive curves and surfaces. Large list of pre-programmed exhibits, but user-defined curves and surfaces are possible, either parametric (including polar) or by curvature/torsion. Visualizations can be zoomed and rotated, colours altered and stereoscopic view or alternate projections used. Parameters can be animated as a time parameter to produce a family. For curves, you can view osculating circle, normals, tangents, evolute, parallel curves, moving frame and binormal. Also has conformal maps, polyhedra, fractals and ODE. Software for development of applets available.
