Slope Field Exploration   COURSE_COMMUNITIES_JAVA_ID

Course Topic(s): One-Variable Calculus | Differential Equations

This Java applet allows users to view slopefields for differential equations of the form \(dy/dx = f(x, y)\). Users can select examples from a dropdown list or enter their own. Users can also select or enter a general solution function and use a scrollbar to vary the value of the constant of integration to visually verify that all particular solutions fit nicely through the slopefield.
