Related RatesCourse Topic(s): One-Variable Calculus | Differentiation, General Applications This maplet provides guided practice in the mechanics of working related rates problems (with feedback and hints). Click on the New Problem button and an equation relating \(x\) and \(y\) is given. The user is then asked to differentiate this equation with respect to \(t\). The user can check their answer and then proceed to simplify the equation and evaluate for \(\frac{dx}{dt}\), given values for \(x\), \(y\), and \( \frac {dy}{dt}\). Note that this maplet is free and can be run with Maple or without Maple (from a remote server).
