Power Functions 
Course Topic(s): One-Variable Calculus | Differentiation, Calculation Rules
Two adjacent windows display graphs of (1) a function \(f\) and a tangent line, and (2) the derivative \(f'\). From a drop-down menu, \(f\) is defined to be one of seven possible power functions, and sliders allow user to vary parameters and the point at which the derivative is evaluated. There are specific suggestions for exploration with the applet.
