Secant to Tangent Applet   COURSE_COMMUNITIES_GEOGEBRA_ID

Course Topic(s): One-Variable Calculus | Differentiation, Definition and Elementary Application

This applet is designed to build the student's visual intuition about the line tangent to a curve at a point being the limit of the secant lines through that point. There are pre-coded examples and the user may also input functions. In addition, the user may control the graph window settings. The user controls the parameter \(\Delta x\) and the point on the graph.
