L'Hospital's Rule for 0/0 Forms   COURSE_COMMUNITIES_MATHEMATICA_ID

Course Topic(s): One-Variable Calculus | Infinite Limits, Function Values and Integrals | Continuity and Limits

In applying l'Hopital's rule to the limit of a quotient with indeterminate form 0/0, a student gets to select the numerator and denominator from a list of 6 functions. The graphs of the numerator, denominator and quotient are shown and the computation of the limit by l'Hopital's rule is displayed. The students do not compute the derivatives or the limit. Further, the derivatives and their quotient are not displayed in the graph.
