Chebyshev's Inequality and the Weak Law of Large Numbers for iid Two-Vectors - Simulation

Course Topic(s): Probability | Expected Value, inequalities | Convergence Theorems, law of large numbers

A demonstration for two-dimensional random vectors of the Weak Law of Large Numbers. A circle represents the set of values within epsilon of the mean and a set of points is the random sample. Slider bars allow various parameters to change, and the Chebyshev bound for the probability that points will be outside the circle is reported. Resource requires a CDF viewer, which is available free from the site.
