This is a basic article on the uniform distribution. The article fits the general format of Wolfram MathWorld articles on distributions: the basic properties are given with some derivations. The article is useful for finding basic properties, but is rather terse and thus not as useful for obtaining a complete understanding of the uniform distribution.
