Probability Distributions - OverviewCourse Topic(s): Probability | Random Variable This webpage provides brief information about common discrete and continuous distributions including binomial, Poisson, t, normal, and F to mention a few. The distributions each have a link to details about the distribution and a link to a corresponding applet. To use the applets, select a distribution from the bottom pull-down menu, click the "Draw" button on the right, and the distribution will appear. The user can change the parameters with the slider and see how that changes the distribution's shape and spread.
