Distributions and Densities - Video
Course Topic(s): Probability | Discrete Distributions, general | Continuous Distributions, general
This video lecture introduces the cumulative distribution function and discusses properties of the function. Then it defines the probability density function (and probability mass function) as a rate of change of the distribution function. Examples include the normal density and the geometric probability mass function.
