This is a basic article on the gamma distribution. The article fits the general format of Wikipedia articles on distributions: a table on the right lists all of the basic properties, while the exposition on the left has background information and some of the derivations. The article is useful for finding basic properties, but is rather terse and thus not as useful for obtaining a complete understanding of the gamma distribution.
