The Exponential Distribution

Course Topic(s): Probability | Continuous Distributions, exponential and gamma

An applet that shows how the shape of the exponential distribution changes as its parameter changes. The probability density function and the cumulative distribution function are graphed, and the mean is shown in red. Under the graph, the mean, variance, and moment generating function are shown. This resource requires a CDF reader, which is available free from the website.
