Bayes' Theorem

Course Topic(s): Probability | Basic Probability, conditional probability

This is a brief article on Bayes' theorem. The theorem is first given for two events, then for a countable partition, then for a random variable with a discrete distribution, and finally for a random variable with a continuous distribution. An example to diagnostic testing.
