Dependent Events

This is one in a series of lessons on probability from the Math Goodies site. Dependence is described informally and then the definition of conditional probability and the multiplication rule for dependent events are given. The rule is illustrated with several examples involving cards and sampling from other finite populations. Several multiplie choice exercises are provided.
