This applet shows two events \(A\) and \(B\) as squares within a larger square that represents the sample space. The user can drag events \(A\) and \(B\) around, and the applet displays the probabilities of \(A\), \(B\), \(A\) and \(B\), \(A\) or \(B\), not \(A\), not \(B\), not (\(A\) and \(B\)), not (\(A\) or \(B\)), In addition, the user can select any of these events with a set of radio buttons and see the selected event highlighted in the Venn diagram. Finally, the conditional probability of \(A\) given \(B\) and \(B\) given \(A\) are displayed. The underlying probability measure is the uniform distribution on the sample space, although this is not explicitly stated.
