Series Solution of a Cauchy-Euler equation   COURSE_COMMUNITIES_MATHEMATICA_ID

Course Topic(s): Ordinary Differential Equations | Series | Developmental Math | Series

This Mathematica Demonstration considers a single initial value problem for a single Cauchy-Euler equation. The graphical display shows the exact solution and an approximate solution formed by truncating the series solution with up to 7 terms. The only user controls are the number of terms in the approximate solution and the range of the independent variable.
