Improper Integrals   COURSE_COMMUNITIES_JAVA_ID

Course Topic(s): One-Variable Calculus | Infinite Limits, Function Values and Integrals

This Java applet allows the user to explore the concept of an improper integral by graphing a function and adjusting the upper limit of the integral of the function with a slider. As the upper limit is adjusted the area under the curve is shaded in and the numerical value of the integral is displayed. The user can choose from a list of functions or enter in a custom function. It includes supporting material to explain how to use it and a display version for demonstration purposes.
