The Fundamental Theorem of CalculusCourse Topic(s): One-Variable Calculus | Fundamental Theorem This web page includes a brief statement of the second form of the fundamental theorem of calculus and a focused Java applet that allows an instructor to demonstrate an example of an accumulation or area function, where the area under the graph of \(f(x) = \sin 2x\) (from \(0\) to \(4\pi\)) is graphed on a second plot. It is a nice example, since you can see the relative extrema of the accumulation function occuring where the function \(f(x)\) is zero, etc.
