A Collection of Tools for Multivariable Calculus

These various one-page Flash applets allow the user to enter a function and a window for viewing 3D curves and surfaces.  Tools for generic parametric descriptions as well as specialized tools for spherical and cylindrical coordinates.  The resulting pictures can be rotated in space to better understand the three dimensional image.  A link for downloading the most recent (free) Flash player plug-in is provided within each individual applet.

INTENDED USES:

Students in multivariable calculus.

SOFTWARE SPECIFICATIONS:

Plugins: Flash player 7.0 (free) with any browser
Operating Systems: Mac or Windows
