About the Authors: (from The College Mathematics Journal, Vol. 11, No. 3, (1980)) Ennis D. McCune is Associate Professor of Mathematics and Statistics at Stephen F. Austin State University and is the author of several articles. He received his Ph.D. from Texas Tech University in 1974.

Robert G. Dean is Professor of Mathematics and Statistics and Graduate Program Coordinator at Stephen F. Austin State University. He is the past chairman of the Texas Section of MAA and a past president of the East Texas Council of Teachers of Mathematics. He received his Ph.D. from Texas Christian University in 1966.

William D. Clark is Professor of Mathematics and Statistics at Stephen F. Austin State University and is the author of several articles. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1968.
