About the Authors: (from The College Mathematics Journal, Vol. 10, No. 2, (1979)) Hugh Ouellette is associate professor of mathematical science at Winona State University, Winona, Minnesota. He earned the Ed.D. in mathematics education at the University of Northern Colorado in 1972. His special interests are teacher preparation and problem solving.

Gordon Bennett is assistant professor of mathematics at Western Montana College at Dillon. He has worked with the Madison Project (St. Louis). His particular interests are teacher preparation and geometry.
